Scooter

Love your table.  Hope you have a very Merry Christmas.  We will have turkey and all the trimmings on Christmas but have been known to bbq for New Years  ....  even when the temps in below freezing.  Glad you completed your class.  Have fun quilting.

Thea, I love the hats and scarf and your tree skirt reminds me of a big pizza. Can you tell I'm hungry?

Scooter,

it's so great to hear from you. I've been wondering how you were. Have a happy Christmas. I miss playing cricket in the backyard.

Your new dining table is lovely.

I have just go into my sewing room and want to work on one more xmas quilt...Edith said she could have it quilted for me by Xmas so that is good.

Today was our Victoria's Quilts charity Xmas lunch and gift exchange...it was alot of fun.  Cut some fabric for them but am dying to work on my stuff

The boys are insulating the ceiling so hopefully by Thursday we will be warm in the living room again...it was 38 degrees this morning in there...bbbrrrrr...40 degrees now....

Helly

I couldn't do it.  If my house gets below 70 degrees I am freezing.  I would be a popsicle if the temp was down to 38.  Have fun working on your quilt.

Hey all,

I do not get here too often... slow dial up restricts my computer time ... especially at this time of the year. I just took my ONE FABRIC WONDER to the quilter... I did my first miter borders on it and am pleased at  how it turned out.   I am just having a pantograph done since the quilt top is so busy.. ... Hubby does not know it yet but he is paying for the quilting since it is for his mother.  SURPRISE!  I almost wish I could keep the quilt for myself since I really love it.... but I HAVE TONS more fabric to play with... and I will visit this quilt often.

I completed my Star of Bethlehem wallhanging in time to hang for Christmas.  It is small, only 32 x 32, but I had never made this pattern before and did not want to bite off more than I could chew.  I didn't have any problem with the star points, but the corner squares took a couple of tries to get right.
