Okay - I am trying to motivate myself and have to be accountable for my quilting...

So I am going to post whether I did any sewing on a quilt each day!  LOL - You can join in if you want to - it would be fun to motivate each other...

I am working on a quilt called Pumpkins and Spice... I made 2 flower blocks today ... didn't think I would ever get them done but finally ...lol

I need to work on BOP and have it next to the sewing machine - I figure as soon as my dinner settles I will start working on it...

so join in an sound off like they say in the military and tell us -

did you work on a quilt today!

Yep two of them!  Didn't accomplish a whole heck of a lot on either one.  Got to work in the yard tomorrow tho.

A bed without a quilt is like a sky without stars.

Yep...Finished one top and started cutting out another.  Have 2 ready to go on quilting frame now. One getting sashing strips and one getting cut and 2 MQ in the drawer.

Cut fabric for the MQ. Thinking about making sandwiching the baby quilt I made a while back.

Does thinking about it count? How about sitting in front of the sewing machine?

Patti - what quilts are you working on?  Tell me about it - I am a curious sort.  I was going to put my blocks for this quilt on my design wall and take a picture - it is a cute quilt - I bought the kit the first Monday of this month when I went to Ponca City for guild - the LQS had them there in kit form and i just couldn't pass them up - I need a few fall quilts - so this will be perfect - i even have some chocolate minkee to put on the back...

I need to work in my garden to winterize it but not sure if it will be tomorrow or not - still chilly - waiting for indian summer...lol

Kris - do we need a rule for this?

I think we need to say that you have to either sew or cut something out - thinking is just thinking...lol

Hi Althea,  I have to admit, I didn't work on a quilt but am gathering my materials to start one here shortly. Found a pattern in Quilters World called Four-in-Nine-Patch Zigzag. It's an easy pattern but the rate I'm going a quick one is always welcome. Am going to do it in browns with a beige background. Thought the last SIL would like it and the colors go with their color scheme in their home. It says "One day Only" but will take me longer since I don't know when we'll be able to start combining the corn. It is still 20+ in moisture and the dock at the elevator would be horrendous. Shoot, we may still be harvesting near to Thanksgiving this year.  We try to be done by our anniversary but the 23rd of Oct. is coming to fast.  Once we start we'll have a hard 2 to 2-1/2 weeks of go,go, go!!!

So with that, I'll say Happy Quilting to everyone!!   Luv to all,
