Nana:

Ms MoomMist

Beautiful blocks.  This will be a stunning quilt.

Thank you Nana and all for your wonderful words of encouragement.

No quilting yet today, but I'm ready to start the next block and hope to get the wreath on one of them by noon. Then it is time to get ready for the girls (inlaws) to come and play cards which we do every other Saturday night. Yes, this are the same one I quilt with, she is a very special lady.

Again, all thank you

xoxoxo

I worked on Jodie's BOM sampler most of the day.  I refuse to give up on it and am determined to finish it. I'm afraid that 60 years from now I'll still be posting that I'm still working on the BOM.On paper it opesn't ;look like I have a lot left to do til I start sewing. It's huge and keeps growing and growing. Tomorrow I'll work on the QAYGo for the next to last sections.

Went to pick up my GD's sewing machine, at the Janome dealer today. They told me that 3 different people had worked on it with no luck. So he told me he would make good on it and sold me a better series for 40.00, not a bad days work lol.

Way to Leslie

Granny M

I meant to say way to go Leslie.   This is just par for my day.   I have been hitting to many leftovers.  I did get the princess quilt done except for the binding and plan to that tomorrow. Then I will be on to the next one "winter fun"   And to all out there enjoying thier snow, Gini, please keep it there, don't send it to Kentucky. We have been hearing all week that there will be snow last Friday or today.  So far so good no snow. I hate driving these hills when it snows.

I don't have much mind left anymore, it is full of quilt patterns and pushing everything else out. At least that is my excuse for the time being.

Diane, don't give up, you will get there, I made it and so can you - felt so good to be able to put it on the bed when the first cold spell hit - too heavy unless it's real cold, but I can admire it on the bed in the daytime, and take it off if it's too much at night.  I didn't do a lot of quilting on it, just enough, I think, so the last sections weren't so bad.  You'll be done in no time if you just keep at it! Good luck -- you go, girl!!

Ma'am YES MA'AM!  (military reply)

Hand quilting a much too small feather wreath on a 4 inch block of a sampler quilt that the poor feather wreath will never show.  Lucky for me i am only just starting the first block of quilt and can make a design change so I am not frustrated.  I want to finish the hand quilting by March, and if I am on block one and frustrated already, a design change I think is what I need to do.

Im aching all over after a marathon sewing session. I finished all the blocks for the first of the four kids quilts I've decided to make. 72 very colourful blocks for an amazing little girl. I'll put them together later today or tomorrow depending on how I feel. I also made Lorraine's birthday block and sashed some DJ and SBS blocks.

Now I'm going to lie down.

Kris,

You and I are in the same achy boat today. I spent 14 solid hours sewing yesterday. It was wonderful, and if I can get past my back and neck agony, I'm going to go back in and hopefully finish the last border of MQ3.

Way to go on making 72 blocks, Lorraine's birthday block and the sashings on DJ and SBS blocks! Amazing!
