Diane,

Thank You.  I am so relieved that Steve is OK too.  He didn't remember anything so he wasn't as frightened.  He basically couldn't understand what all the fuss was about.  When he was himself again, I asked him not to do that to me again, please.

Diane--

Your MQ3, aka Stained Glass Quilt, is awesome!  I'm not usually a batik fan, but this I LOVE.  The border is the perfect finish.  Super job!

Diane Morgan:
Do you ever get over that feeling inadequate?
All the time Diane.  Of course we like it, it is beautiful.  I try to remember that the only one that has to like what I make is ME.  I am doing this for me first, my relaxation, enjoyment and sanity.  If others like it too that is just bonus.  If they don't it does not mean they don't like me just don't like what I have made and oh well, we are all entitled to our opinions.  Either way, YES we all like you.  I would love to meet you and everyone else on this site in person.  I think if we had a get together it would be the blast of the century with or without the sewing.

I don't know about anyone else but I always think that my quilts don't measure up.  Maybe because I see the little mistakes that no one else seems to notice. I look at the quilts on site and go to the quilt shows here, but I keep chickening out to put one of my own in a show.  So I know what you mean.

Here is my mystery quilt top.

Very nice Diane.  Will be waiting to see how you end up quilting it.  Are you going to do it yourself on your DSM or take it to a LAQ?

Yah - tell him that he put a real crimp in our plans.  :o}  Seriously - I am glad that everything seems to have turned out OK.  Why do hubbies have to go and worry us like that?  I still get the "shivers" when I remember Dave getting the GBS and how it just worked it's way up his body until all he could do was lay in the hospital bed and struggle for each breath.  I DO NOT want to go through that again!!!!!

Oh I know what you mean!!!  David Jr popped into my sewing room Monday afternoon.  I was showing him all the projects that I have on multiple burners and he just shook his head and grinned.  He knows me so well.  He can remember me still working of finishing doll clothes for Jaimie on Christmas morning!

I remember my weekends with him when he was just a litttle guy (he is now almost 19 and 6'3").  I used to pick him up after I got off work at J.C. Penneys on Friday night and take him home with me.  He always wanted me to stop at the race track to see if the cars were racing --- Altalnta Motor Speedway and at 10 o'clock at night!!!  He loved it when his dad would come down here on a Sat. to cut my fields and bring him along to ride the tractor.  I loved it when Big David asked if they could build down here.  Having the grandkids right next door to watch them grow and thrive has been PURE JOY!!!

I have finished the 5 aprons for the Christams tea servers and have over 40 of the tissue holders finished.    I also managed to squeeze in a half dozen fleece blankets for Project Linus.  Didn't get much done yesterday with the stinkin' headache but as ready to go back at it this morning.
