Kim~
Thanks so much for sharing. I have the Bow Tucks pattern and fabric all bought and it's sitting in my to-do pile. That pile is huge! I love that pattern. Your bags came out wonderful.

Love the kitty quilt and your fur babies are cute, too! I think most of have cats. I think they are a mandatory quilting supply. Quilt shops should start selling Quilt Cats to go with every purchase.

We love the birds. Ivy can be a pain in the butt and very nippy but then she's so cute you can't stay mad at her. She has a very strong personality. Rebel keeps us in hysterics. He's amazing at what he picks up other than what we have taught him. He loves music, like we do and he sings(like Frank Sinatra) and he says Rock and Roll and makes a noise like snapping your fingers. He has tons of things he says and they are in the right perspective. You sneeze anywhere in the house, you'll hear God Bless You! They be cool.
kim, cute quilts and even cuter kitties gini
my gramma had a pet crow when i was little. he could say all sorts of things and he liked to tease the dogs. gini
Thank you to all - I'm trying to get back in gear. I worked on the BOM today - got the new corner pinwheels blocks done; I had already sewn on the hourglass blocks, leaving the ends free so I could add the corners when they came out. Then I added more batting and backing ~~ you know, I'm finding this to be so heavy and hard to move around and work on ~~ I do think it will be a nice warm winter quilt for our bed, and that is just exactly where it is going when it's done, on our bed to keep us warm. Note: no stops at county fairs or contests or show and tells (except for a front picture on here) because I am NOT EVER GOING TO LET ANYONE SEE THE BACK!! LOL I feel like it is chopped up and messy - think I would have liked it better if I'd kept the backing one piece. Usually, everyone looks at the back and admires the quilting, and that's fine, but not this time. I will treat it like my Greatgrandma said about housework: She said if anyone looks up at the cobwebs, just stomp on their toes, and they will forget all about the cobwebs!! Nobody tries to look at the back of my quilt, or they get stomped toes!! LOL We only have one more step, hurrah!! Happy quilting, all.
Kim,
I like your bags, quilt and kitties. They're all cute. Thanks for sharing.

Wow Kris that is beautiful. You are so talented. My fall fabric swap is still sitting, I think I have a pattern picked out but have been so busy with start of school, SBS and MQ3 and one of the girls in my book club brought to the meeting another quilt book for me to look at. Our book club turned into a show and tell quilt session LOL.

Kris,
You did a great job putting your fall fabrics together in a quilt top. It's so neat to see how different the blocks can look with the different colorations.
