gini:now i can relax for a few days.
gini:i'm on the homerun stretch with the golf course.
Gini
Your golf course is absolutely stunning. The black really sets it off. I might learn to play golf if I could play there. : )
Marge (AKA Dimples):ang it marlene, you got your dibs in first for nana to make your VB blocks.
I think Nana's words were to me, were get cutting or something to that effect! LOL I am sure she has her hands full coordinated the retreat without doing more blocks. :>Can we help it if we aren't as fast? But you will whip your blocks out in no time while me I will be signing my on the plane! LOL
But I do have my fabric. I do have a block in mine for the fabric. That's all I 've done. You do have your fabric-its in your studio, you just have to pick it out!
Marge (AKA Dimples): No relaxing is allowed this week. There is elf work to do!
Marge
You aren't kidding. And they are making me bake and bake and bake. 2 large banana breads 8 mini banana breads. 2 double batches choc chip w. pecan. And I think if I bake again if will be too soon. LOL
no baking here, the girls had a cookie day at my mom's yesterday. mom said it was one of the funnest days she's had in a long time. our two daughters don't stop in the same place for long together, but they hung out with gramma all day. mom used to take the girls every year for the summer.

I finished my parent's quilt tonight...just in time. Now I just have 3 stockings to make and my Christmas projects should be complete.
Kinda of quick pictures thrown over my cutting table. I need to put it on a bed and take a better picture but this will do for now.
This one shows it a little better...maybe.

This is a Connecting Threads kit. I didn't even wait for it to be on sale because I knew my mom would love it. These are her colors and I hope she will actually use it on her bed. I know she will love it, though, however she uses it.
Sheila:What cute mug mats, Kris! Your co-workers will be thrilled.
Thanks Sheila.
MNnancy: Cute mug rugs, Kris! The border of the one on the right was one of my fabrics in MQ5 - from the Moda "Hope" collection.

Thanks Nancy. I wish I had more of the fabric. I'm making these from the scrap bags I got from the LQS.
Great quilt, Jeanine! The quilting is superb...much better than mine, but I think mine would have been better if I hadn't gotten so mad because the thread kept breaking. Then the one I've been working on I call my DSIL's ugly Dr. Who quilt, because I just didn't like the fabric. It sure is hard to work on a quilt when you don't really like it, but I did finally get it off the frame. Now to decide what to use to bind it. It looks like I will get in done in time for Christmas!
