EAT!! SLEEP !! QUILT!!
Nancy - I am so happy that you got your quilt finished - I remember you starting it in Iowa and thinking how gorgeous it was going to be. Your nephew will absolutely love it. You did good and I love the pointy meander - very nice! Awesome!
Barbara: I have my stitiching bible all put together and finished ,I just need to get my grommets,in to keep it together .That i will be doing today. I like how it came out ,and it has already been very useful .Barbara

Barbara - that is neat - did you do every stitch your machine done in each size - lot of work! Nice reference to have! You are one busy lady - teapots and stitching Bible... all I am doing is my DWR - I have 4 rows done now - just 4 to go! then to sew them together... I should be done sometime this weekend! YAHOO!!! Then I am going to start on the red / green one...I have to decide what I am going to use for Backing on the Blue/Purple one - haven't found a fabric yet - but one will hit me in the face - I don't want to go with a light color - am thinking a dark blue or dark purple might work. Thinking!
Again - Barbara - great job!
Barbara,
This is absolutely adorable! I collect teapots. Don't think I'll be able to do anything that complicated! Did you have a teapot pattern to go by?
Althea :all I am doing is my DWR
I just KNOW I'm going to feel really dumb for asking this question. But what is DWR?
I looked in the QCA dictionary but nothing is listed. Maybe the dictionary could include abbreviations? Oh, dear, perhaps I'm dating myself??? I DO know LOL or ROFLOL so I'm not a complete nincompoop!
In the beautiful Pacific Northwest!

Double Wedding Ring.......it took me awhile it figure it out too.
DWR Double Wedding Ring. I'm thinking of trying the method taught by Sharon Pederson. Its an applique method and seems easy enough for me to do. Sorry Althea, no footballs, no putting tiny little pieces togeather, I'm all about eay these days.
....to figure it out too. Darn cat walking on the keyboard again, he just can't spell LOL
Barbara
Your stitchin' Bible is so cute. I feel sure you will use it frequently.
Vinton, Virginia
The Stitchin Bible is really a great idea. My sewing machine doesnt have enough fancy stitches to make one for it. Its an old Kenmore. With cams... lol (Maybe santa will be nice to me this year.)
Thea, You are being to hard on yourself ,You are teaching a class and doing two other DWR plus the group you are doing here ,I'd say you are plenty busy. You will get other quilts done once you get these finished .and that is a lot of work .. Thanks for you kind remarks on my little book .I tried to do three stitches of the same setting just by adjusting the width and length of the stitches. some did not do well with a smaller stitch at all ,and looked bad so I'd stop after a few stitches were done. It has come in handy already. I need to sit down and do the same with my Viking which I got fixed ,but haven't done it yet.. Just keep at it girl you'll get em done ..Barbara

Nana, thank you ,I got all the gromments on but three and ran out ,so I have to run and get more . but they worked really well ,I used a single paper holer to make my holes and it was a perfect fit .I used the 1/4 in gormmets. Barbara
Thanks Debbie ,I would make sure Santa get a nice letter or a bug in his ear for a pretty new machine and just how much you can do with a new one ..LOL Good luck.. Barbara
