and to answer the question did I work on a quilt today - I have 2 rows done for my DWR - only 6 more to go and then to put them all together...
it was a slow sewing day - alergies and arthritis pain - but I am blessed _ I did sew!
I heard my nephew will be coming home from his first stint in Afghanistan next week, so I had to get my rear in gear to get the stack-n-whack finished (started in September at the Iowa retreat) as a wedding gift for he and his young bride. I got it on the frame and did my usual pointy all-over meander in a variegated thread. I'll bind it tomorrow and then get a full picture posted.

It's great to broaden your horizons. I will also have to try it. Leaf vines are so easy but not suitable for all designs. What is your current design?
