Sukochi, I'll keep you & your DH in my thoughts. My DH has had both a partial & full knee replacement on the same knee, so I know what the surgery & recovery is like.  Given what you said about his recovery from a back injury, he'll come through this, too.  With you by his side and the faith you both have, he's in good hands!

I'm thinking of all of you along the eastern seaboard & in the southeast, hoping everyone makes it through Lee in one piece!

I may not be taking needle & thread to fabric today but I am cleaning up my sewing room, putting things away & throwing out the old catalogs that have been gathering dust.  Feels good to get the space back in order.

I have something to add to the Quilters Marketplace... though it is just a give away. How do I post a new item?  Or, do I just offer it here?

Sukochi, Prayers are being sent to your DH. I'm sure all will be well, make sure he does his rehab long after so as not to lose ground. I had both of my knees done, one about 10 years ago and the other 5 years ago. So great to have the pain gone.

Finished the Dinosaur Train quilt  top for my DGD today. Need to sandwich and get it quilted. Tried out a new skill for me anyway, put a flange all around.

Well, this has to be a first. I didn't actually work on a quilt today, but I did work in the sewing room. I emptied 3 boxes, and got the Serger and Embroidery machine out there and the Embroidery machine all set up ready to go. Also got some house work done and then DH took me out for wings at the American Legion... they were really yummy. Now, I'm in my flannel pjs because it is a whole whooping 63 deg here so I'm staying warm. I do not like cold or cool weather.

Happy Labor Day everyone!

xoxoxo
