Hello,
Because this thread is so popular, and it gets so many replies which can sometimes cause performance issues, we will continually add new "versions."
The last post of Did you work on a quilt today? #3 is here.
The original thread was started on October 17, 2009 by Althea.

Leslie,
Love your Neopolitan Ice-Cream looks so yummy.
Oh I found this thanks!
xoxoxo,
What a perfect name for your MQ with those colors! Very pretty!

Finally did the binding on one of the 3 baby quilts I made this month. The other 2 still need backing and quilting. I've been trying new things and can't believe I have been doing my binding wrong all this time. Just watched the Fons and Porter video on binding and will try the correct, smooth, mitered corners way on the next quilt. Also tried doing some quilting design other than meandering...not too happy with the result, need a lot more practice.
Leslie--
Your Neopolitan quilt is indeed yummy. Very nice work.

Did you work on a quilt today? > not yet, but I've got a collection of mystery-quilt-type blocks ready to cut out and piece ... tonight should be busy!

Not yet, but I do have some new fabric to ponder on, and dream about. My best ideas come at night when I'm trying to go to sleep, LOL. That's when my mind goes into overdrive and comes up with the best ideas. Well, I did do the binding on one quilt, but most of that was done last night before bedtime.
Not today as i have been feeling yucky. I caught a cold on vacation. I am hoping to get stated on DH's sisters quilt tomorrow. There is a lot of cutting involved in that project.

Oooh. Would like to see the mystery blocks when they are finished. Sounds like fun.
I kind of worked on a quilt. Getting everything together to start a new Mariner's Compass. Fabrics chosen, swatchboard in progress, Paper piecing patterns set to go.
