Helen: Jeanine I had to reread the 115 quilts you are planning on quilting. Holy smokes, that is a lot of quilting! Your quilting is beautiful!

I seem to. Accumulate a lot of tops through my quilt ministry group. I keep hoping to find someone as obsessive as me to help but have not been that lucky. I have more quilters willing to make tops than finish no matter how I try to encourage them!
MNnancy: Jeanine: And my mom gave my dad his quilt. He loved it! Jeanine, great picture! They look like two lovebirds enjoying that quilt!

Thanks. They have been married 55 years. I guess it's going to last.
Here is the quilt I did last night. Then I trimmed the ten quilts and started picking out binding.
Bless you for all the goodness in your heart! How do you manage to find time to quilt something of yours :-)
I do have a few quilt tops of my own waiting. Mostly I have gifts that have due dates so I squeeze them in among customer quilts and charity quilts. I made a batman quilt for my step son for Christmas that will need to get done and my best friend's son is getting married August 14 so that one is bubbling up to the top of my schedule. I have one for my guest bedroom to quilt but I decided I wanted to add 6" around it so that's back in my piecing projects pile and then I did one for my wall in the family room that I want to get quilted as soon as I figure out how I want to quilt it.
I am never lacking for something to do which fits me just fine. Now if I could only retire and do this full-time, I might really have time to catch up!! One can dream!
Hi Cindy,
Hey those are cool hearts and loops. I have lost phone contact and have llimited wifi, so I am sharing with the DH. I really like the tumbling blocks! When I make it to New York, I should be rejoining civilization.

Nice work, BusyBee
Are you talking to me, Judy? LOL. I've been called worse! gotta go...quilts are calling me!
Jeanine,
Your quilts are wonderful!! And the sweet picture of your Mom and Dad...I just loved it. How precious. He is certainly proud of his quilt from her.
Cindy,
You are just moving right along on Queenie! Great job!
Question please.....
I would like to know if anyone is using the Quilter's Eye www.aquilterseye.com . If you are, would you please say how you like it? I've been thinking of getting one but would like to get some feed back first for others who have used it.
Thank you
Ramona, I have a camera on my gammill and it is not that plain. I think I wasted my money.
Joan L,
Hummmm, guess I need to re-think the purchase then. Thanks for your comment.

I think it's wonderful that you do this. It would certainly help to have others jump on board with helping you to finish them. Everyone has their likes when it comes to quilting but it seems they would want to get them finished out sent out for good use. A few could not make tops for a couple of months and help quilt and maybe rotate. Who knows one of them may just catch on to longarm quilting. :-)
Actually, I do have a few that help finish quilts only and others that do both. I have one other with a Longarm and a couple with sHortarm systems. I am training one to use my Longarm and she has done around five quilts so far. But I have two ladies that pick up kits each month and bring back 8-10 tops. My mom just gave me three tops and three finished. I am pushing the idea of finished quilts as hard as I can. I told everyone last month that I tried to give Project Linus a bunch of tops but they weren't all that excited. They laughed but...??? It will get there. I keep picking up new members and it seems the skill level is improving. There is hope. In the meantime, I am getting lots of practice!
