Hi Sarah and welcome,

What a wonderful way to spend Mother/Daughter time! Your quilt is masculine and classic. Very nice!

such a lovely quilt! Hooray that mother/daughter can spend some quality time on a mutual interest! So many these days don't. I think it's great!

Oh, I do too. That pattern is perfect on that quilt. Love the spring colors.

Sarah,

Welcome to the site!!! You and your Mom have done a wonderful job on this quilt.  Quilting is great to have in common with your Mom. Spending quality time together and making keepsakes. Great quilt and great quilting. Team work!

Here is the quilt I did for my Granddaughter.  It has a history that I will put in the gallery post.  It is so big that it takes two pictures to see all of it

I am really disappointed that the quilting is not showing up very well in these pictures ----Granny M

I have ordered a used Nolting 16. It is at the factory now getting the quilters cruize control put on it. I cant wait to get it, maybe another week and 1/2. I have a frame and used my sewing machine on it, I was not happy because I couldn't really do any designs because the throat space was to small. I have done several free motion quilts on my machine and quilted it in sections. I cant wait for it for it to come,,, this is the longest 3 weeks..

I hope if I have any problems, I can come here for suggestions.

Finally finished my grandson's birthday quilt.  My DH liked the panel and didn't want me to cut it up so I just bordered it, quilted and put binding on.

I even put his name on it after seeing someone else do it.

Congratulations!  I started with a small frame, too, and it is not good enough.  I gave my frame to a friend a couple months ago and she is already wanting something bigger.  I don't regret moving up!
