This is just awesome!!!!!
Thank you, i picked a patern that I could do without rulers or a lot of marking. The leaves were free hand. I just finished the other queen about 15 minutes ago, thank God. I am a tired puppy but both my clients will be pleased to have their quilts quickly.
I had a couple of tangles and thought of you and Vivian and your troubles, so I went to the Kitchen and threw salt over my shoulder.LOL!
Thanks so much Snugglebug!
I hope you find your new home and that it is super spacious!
Thank you Silvia!
Finished my problem tshirt quilt. I had to make and attach the binding, too, but it is done. It was 93 x93 so it was quite large. Got a call for another one today.
God it feels so good to pull a competed quilt off the racks when I am through torturing it! LOL!
Yes it does! I love that feeling when the only thing left to do is the binding and label!
I finished both the queens and the ladies came to LQS, where I sew on Tuesdays, and they got to unviel their quilts for all to see. YOu could see how much each of them love their quilt and the ladies that I sew with loved the quilts as well. One of my clients said, " I didn't think this quilt was that good but it sure feels nice to get a pat on the back for a job well done!. The second client gave me a great big hug as she put her money in my pocket. She had come to visit her sister who is terminal and they made the quilt together and wanted it back quickly. I finished that queen with an all over meander in 3 hours. Thank God for Red Snappers!
Judy Lee, I don't know how you can get so much done in one day! I always have great intentions but seem to fall short somehow. LOL I've had the same little tiny quilt on my frame for days. Partly because I'm trying to figure out how to quilt it, and partly because when I think "now I can get down there to quilt" I realize I have dishes, I have to cook, oops forgot about the laundry....it never seems to end. Then there is my daycare of course, although the kids are pretty understanding when I just HAVE to longarm! LOL
Anyway, great quilt. Love love love the colors!!! I think it always feels so good to make someone happy when helping them complete their vision for their quilt!!
Jeanine, what kind of thread do you use on your tshirt quilts? I used invisible nylon and I have to say it was the biggest headache!! I felt so happy to have that thing done. Thank God my client was thrilled with it and now is wanting me to make some chair pads and a window seat pad. Flattered she has faith in me, but....not sure about the connection between making and quilting a tshirt quilt and home furnishings! :)
IThanks so much, Zeba, I truly love blues and whites! have to set a timer for things like laundry and meals! My husband is now home recouperating with his hand in a cast and I guess that means his legs are also broken, LOL! While I did these quilts, he got his 3 square meals and the laundery got done and the puppies were fed. I didn't quit last night until 9:30 PM, I was exhausted and hurting but really happy that all was done. Today was play day with the ladies at the LQS. I have to have 1 day that is my own!
Just saw the blue & white. It came out great! I just sent you pics of the table runner that I did today.
Does anyone here pictures using their iPad? I'm trying but can't figure out how!! Ugh!
Ok. Let's see if this works. This is the little quilt I'm trying to finish. Oh and also my best friend, the long arm! :).
Grrr. Guess the pic didn't work. I'll try again later.
