My FQ is all set up and ready to go, hopefully I will be able to get a little done this afternoon. I have been working on hand sewing the binding on Maggie's quilt, I'm very slow but getting it done.
Life is like a quilt...bits & pieces, joy & sorrow, stitched with love
Thank you so much. Guess I will get busy sewing some up when I get back in the swing of things. Great video!
Your welcome Ramona, I love her videos they are always so helpful.
I too use Rice bags they are great as long as you remember to move them over. They also heat up great for heating pads around your neck and shoulders. 1 minute does it. LOL!
A 2 for 1 deal! Sounds great to me! Are you all set for your surgery Friday?
Yes, I am still scheduled for surgery as long as my antibiotic does its job. Hubby brought home the CRUD last week. I do feel like they are working and I think by my preop on Wed. I will be almost good as new.
Aw, I hate that for you. Please get much better so they don't have to postpone and you can get this behind you. Hugs and well wishes!
I will have surgery on Friday and then on Saturday a fellow quilter is picking me up to go to a Floriana Trunk Show.
I must be such a pansy. Of course, a trunk show would be great incentive to get up and out but I just can't imagine that soon. Take your pain pills. lol
I've been reading these post on one-handed pantos. I can't imagine doing this. I need both hands to keep a steady stitch. I have seen teachers use one hand and I'm amazed! I'll stick to two hands for now.
I agree it would be difficult as I see it right now. I am going to give it a try though and see what happens but I'm not real optimistic about it being something I have the talent to do.
Jeanine: I need both hands to keep a steady stitch.
Once you became used to using one hand, it would become second nature. You should give it a try, you might end up really liking your results.
The tutorials were so simple to follow. I learned new things and I am going to keep your email so I can go back to the turtorials when I make the rice bags and side leaders. Thanks a bunch for the information. Bettie
I finished a quilt for a friend and I would like to share the feathers.
My mother always said it was tacky to brag, so I guess that makes me tacky, talented but tacky. I can live with that I LOOOOVE my feathers.
Your feathers are fantastic. WTG.
