Wow! I really love the softness of this quilt1

Judylee,
Thank you. I'll be back to quilting soon.
Sorry you're having so much trouble with your quilt. It's always fun to have a challenage. LOL Gives us something to learn from. Hope you get it finished and can move on to something with a little less attitude.
Charis,
Yes!!!! Welcome to the site and enjoy the ride. Lots of talented quilters here and loads of ideas and information. Look forward to seeing some projects of yours.
Pretty quilt Vivian.
Spud, I'm glad you have a "distraction" while your machine is away! I don't know what I'd do without ssomething else to occupy me! Here's hoping it comes back quickly!
Vivian, I know exactly how you feel! I just want to quilt & not have to do all that other stuff (isn't there a fairy who loads the quilt, changes the bobbin, etc.?). I can be very impatient but shouldn't be when I'm quilting! Good luck finishing the snake quilt :-)
Bettie, I'm sorry to hear about your reaction to the medicine. My DH doesn't do well with medication - he can be sensitive to side effects. I'm glad yours have worn off & you can quilt again! Have fun practicing :-)
Ramona, I went to Google, clicked on images & searched for two color quilts - there are some neat photos, including a drunkard's path, that could work - here's the link:

the scrappy quilt i uploaded the picture of is in the Quiltmaker mag September/October 1999. Since it was in the magazine I have no problem posting it here. The quilt is called Happy to be Scrappy.
Thank you for your kind reply. I wish I had the desire to do some quilting. I did sign up for a machine applique class on Sat. but I don't know what is wrong with me. I don't feel like doing anything since i came off the medicine. I don't sleep much so I am very tired all the time and have no energy for anything. I did sew on an applique blcok and then had to tear everything out for I did it backwards. I have it ready to try sewing again at least. I see my Dr tomorrow and mmaybe he will make some adjustments that make me perk up. Thanks again Bettie
Thank you, Vivian,
This quilt looks like it would go together quickly and be fun! I finished the Yellow Rose quilt fairly quickly for my client and got spoiled. Then the quilt from Hell came next. It has been a long time since I kept a quilt on my Miss Jewel for more than 3 days. The Batiks are pretty and the quilt came out ok, I just really struggled with my thread choice. Lesson Learned!
Judylee

Judy Lee,
What a great job quilting!!! Beautiful quilts.
Bettie,
I'm so sorry you're going through such a hard time. I pray all is better for you real soon.
