I'm from Austin and so glad to find an online home. I have recently "rediscovered" quilting after taking a 20 year break for lack of space and time. My youngest dautgther left for college and I took back space. Yah!
I'm enjoying discovering all of the new tools and fabrics. Things have really changed in the last 20 years.
I look forward to catching up with the new technologies.
Welcome Debra,
You just made more friends than you'll know what to do with. You've come to the right place.
Happy Quilting.

Welcome Debra, nice to have you back to the quilting world. Wait until you discover the newest techniques to make blocks that took us a long time to put together 20 years ago. How exciting for you, enjoy!

Welcome Debra! Being a new quilter myself, I don't know how techniques and notions might have changed. Besides the rotary cutter, what other changes have you seen in quilting? That question is for any of our club members who have been quilting over time.

Welcome back to quilting Debra. I know what you mean about the changes. I have been going through some old books of quilting that I had on my bookshelf - looking to make room for some new ones. No mention of rotary cutters back then!
