I keep a pair of snips at both my sewing machine and next to my ironing board.  That way once I'm finished sewing, if while pressing, I need to trim or cut a loose thread I don't have to go back to the sewing machine.  I also keep two sets of magnetic pin holders.  One by my sewing machine, the other on my cutting board.  And when one fills up, after taking pins out of what I am sewing, I just transfer the two so that I always have plenty of pins at the ready after cutting out blocks or patterns.

If I doubled up on any more equipment, I could have a friend over to quilt.
