OK, Marge, Patti, Nana and the rest.  Here are the shrimp, see them to the right of the lighthouse?... this is a work in progress. Still more crabs, possibly another fish, another shrimp or two, an anchor and two more borders to go. Plus I have to put the detail on their boat. Plus I'll may be appliquing the boat name in the upper right of the remaining white space. My son-in-law hasn't decided if he wants that.

The Shrimp are raw edge appliqued on.

judy, really  cute quilt.   some seagulls in the sky would be appropriate, i've never seen a boat without seagulls tagging along.

Love it Judy! It looks like a great start and looking forward to seeing the finished product!

Asking a quilter to mend something is like asking Picasso to paint your garage.

Okay Judy, I've heard a lot of grumbling by you about this quilt, but it is really very nice.  I love the addition of the crabs and shrimp. the color really sets it all off.   I like, I like.....Ginny

nice quilt for a boat owner.  Personalized.  Unique.   It's well done, and the boat details will make it even better.   It's going to be very nice when you are done.
