Althea :

Found it. I now have to find time to sew, clean, read, watch movies and chat on QCA.

Helen,

at least I have audio books that I play when sewing. I don't always follow along but it helps. I could never give up reading.

Hubby is the reader in this family...he goes through a book a day when he is at home...not me...I read one book this summer and then I didn't like the idea that there was nothing to show for it at the end...at least I would have had a quilt to show for all that time...haha

Just got a catalog yesterday of all DVDs that can be ordered so when I read what you were looking for I checked the index and sure enough there it was. The catalog is called Critics Choice.  I ordered from them once and all was fine.  "Pay it Forward" is on sale for $12.96.  It also can be ordered online at www.ccvideo.com The company is in Illinois.

I second that...pay it forward...my life's motto.  I know I can't earn my way to heaven...but I'm still going to try!

I have a Hinterberg lap hoop that I love, but I have always wanted to try the QSnap brand too...

You ladies have broken me out of my shell.  I've been reading your discussions for a couple of weeks.  And, I was compelled to answer to a Pay It Forward thread....

Thanks Ladies!  I look forward to many more fun topics!

And we look forward to heaing more from you now that you are out of your shell :)

I have the QSnap frame, now I need to try to learn to hand quilt, maybe a small wall hanging would be a good place to start.

Life is like a quilt...bits & pieces, joy -and- sorrow, stitched with love

Helen,

I've read 25 books this year so far. I don't know what I'd do without books.

Jaci E, welcome to QCA forums! Please tell us about yourself, how long you've been quilting, and the kinds of quilts you like to make. Maybe you can post some pictures, too. :-)

Pay It Forward is one of my favorite movies. I use to show it to my seniors every year. I think the message is great! I also like Brian's Song. If I could have my own movie channel it would just movies based on sports figures or sports in general.
