I have been quilting for about 2 years now. I have been a member since August 2010 but this is my first post. As a matter of fact my first quilting forum to belong to. I am 52 years old and live in Oklahoma am married no kids. I have had more fun learning to quilt than any other thing I have tried in my life! Both of my sisters and my niece have joined me in my new passion. Just wanted to say a quick hello and introduce myself.
Welcome !!! I am a young quilter and have loved all the suport of the other members. I love posting all my projects finished or not to get ideas and encouragement from everyone. Please post something you ve made we would all love to see your work. Quilting is an art. I quilt in memory of my grandmother. Sewing was a passion of hers and I intend to let her passion over take me.

Hi Susan, Nice to have you in the group. I have found that where ever you go, if you go to a quilt shop or quilt group, you will be among friends. It has been a wonderful passion for me. So far my intake(stash) exceeds my output:) But on the bright side, I am making LOTS of friendsLOL.

Susan welcome aboard! It's great you have sisters and a niece to quilt with. Please share any and all the projects the three of you are doing. Glad you decided to introduce yourself, please don't be a stranger and post often.

EAT!! SLEEP !! QUILT!!
Thank you all for the warm welcome! I have uploaded my first quilts to my gallery. It's funny because one of my sisters refused to get involved with it. I found out she had quilted years ago but cut out everything with a pair of scissors (king size quilt). She quickly came on board when i showed her the rotary cutter, mat and ruler.
Beauriful Quilts! You really have an eye for color and contrast!
