Now that we have reached the final steps for MQ4, it's time to choose your favorite.

I'm going to ask everyone to post a picture of your finished top (does not have to be quilted) in the media section of the MQ4 Group by Wednesday evening, May 4th.  Then you will have until Sunday May 8th to vote for your favorite and I will post the winner on Tuesday May 10th.  Anyone can vote whether you participated in the MQ or not.

To vote all you need do is send me the name of the person who made your favorite via a friend message.  If you are not my friend yet, just click on my name at the top of this post and you will be taken to my Home Page where you can add me as a friend.

I will be removing all the pictures from the Media Section of the steps and fabrics that have been posted.  This will make it easier to see the quilts.

I hope everyone will get their tops finished and posted.  Even if you are not interested in being the "Viewer's Choice" winner, we all want to see how your quilt looks when finished.

Thanks everyone for joining me on this MQ and a special thank you to our cheerleaders.  You all did a great job.

Now, who's ready for MQ5? :)

Sandy, you are too funny. I am not ready. However, I will get myself ready by October. LOL Thanks for being a great hostess.

Sandy,

Do I need to have my borders on by May 4?  I'm not sure if I will have time to do it between now and Tuesday morning when I have shoulder surgery.  However, I will stay up all night if I have to.  :)

No, Cathy, you do not need to have the borders on.  We love to look at all quilts in any stage of completion.

Hi Rose and welcome to QCA.  You can still make this quilt.  Instructions for all previous MQ's are posted in the MQ Section found under Community Fun in the menu on the left side of your home page.  MQ 5 will start in October and I look forward to you joining in that one.

I think I can manage to keep myself busy until October.

Since I already know what the finished product will look like, it wouldn't be much of a 'mystery' to do the MQ4.  I am quilting a mystery quilt that our guild did while I was in Shanghai.  It was foundation pieced using batiks.  It turned out really well and I am currently quilting it for a grandchild.  I will, of course, post it in the gallery when it's finished.
