I use Firefox and Safari (on a Mac) and it doesn't seem to make a difference.

Hi Sheri

Firefox is a very common and free software program that is safe to download.  You should be able to set your Norton so that you can download it.  I don't use Norton to tell you exactly what is necessary but I am sure it has an administrator section.

In our office we all use Internet Explorer and Firefox interchangably now since Peg told us that it was more compatible with Firefox.

Another option since you are new to the site is to call in to our office in the morning and ask for guidance in moving about the site.  Our number is 888-253-0203.  We do request that these type of technical calls come in the mornings before 12pm CST as we have the lowest call volume then.

Hi everyone,

We are also still looking at the error messages that are occuring on the site when posting.

The BIGGEST help for us is for anyone who receives the following error message is to post here on this thread and note:

  • the date
  • the time
  • which thread you were posting to

Thanks - we really want to get this figured out - but since it's happening only to some and not others, it's a bit more complex. We appreciate your patience as we work on this.

Here's the error message. Typically posters see this message, but when they go back, they find their posts are still there:

Sorry, there was a problem with your last request!
Either the site is offline or an unhandled error occurred. We apologize and have logged the error. Please try your request again or if you know who your site administrator is let them know too.

Hi Gini,

Thanks for posting right after the errors. I've logged with the developer so they check the site's error logs.

Re: the font size - I can't replicate or see that in your posts. I may need to discuss with you in person if it's still happening tomorrow. You may want to try exiting out of your browser, and try again. Also, have you cleared cookies and cache recently in your web browser?

I know it's frustrating when things don't work. I'm hoping we can get this figured out for you soon.

Hi Gini,

We made a fix - let's see if that helps. Please let me know in this forum directly after if you experience the error again.

Thanks,

QCA Peg

April 20th at 7:54 pm I received a message error when posting on "Did you work on a quilt today 3" to Caroline from France.  After I got the message I clicked the back arrow twice and my message did show up there in that thread.  It's been a long time since my last message error.   Hope this helps.

Hi Marie,

I have had a slow time setting up the MQ posts also tonight. I left a message with QCA Peg, so with luck we'll get it looked into soon.
