Moonmist I am so sorry,  she was a beautiful girl, I know the pain I am having with my mothers death, it must be 3 x worse with a child this age.  My prayers for you and your family

Marie:

Lisa, this is adorable!

This morning my great niece Pam had an 8 lb. 4oz. 21.5" inch baby girl named Anastasia.  That makes me a great, great aunt!  Lucky me!  I've been wishing for a baby to make a quilt for and here she is!  Maybe this will get me inspired to quilt again.

way to go Silverfox.    Special baby quilts are so great to make

Marie:

Kris, I'm not even keeping up with the BD blocks!  My bad!  At least I feel I have company now.  Hope your dry spell ends this weekend.  Wish we could quilt together but distance is stopping us.

I think we need to set up a date. I miss you.

Wow Gini you do amazing work!  Your bow ties quilt is wonderful, I love your composition.  I'm not too sure I understand the fractured fat quarter but it's pretty.  My guess is the gold and black one is your strip.  Your center block for the round robin is gorgeous!

Cindy love your bags!  Your pink and brown quilt is so soft and feminine and your pink and black is so cheerful, good job on all.

I haven't been in the quilt room for two days. I finished a quilt and while the front looks pretty good the back has a big pleat in it. I knew not to use that backing-it wasn't loading right on the frame, but I thought I had fixed the problem. WRONG. I will not make the same mistake again. I will go buy a new back if I have to next time. I am going to hand sew the pleat flat going just into the batting. I hope I can get it to lay flat. Any suggestions out there?

Gini,  What's a round robin?  Your iris is beautiful.
