Jeanine, at the rate you are quilting, you are going to wear out that new long arm. :o)

Well, I hope you are all proud of me. For the first time ever, I now officially have UFO's. I have the tops and backs of my two MQ4 lap quilts pieced and ready to sandwich, but there they sit. I have a 48" square wall hanging cut out, but there it sits. A bug to make some placemats to go with my new dishes hit me, so that's what I'm working on between trips to the garden. This feels very funny....

MNnancy: This feels very funny....
Nancy--
I know just how you feel. I was the same way BQCA, but those days are gone forever, I fear. On the other hand, BQCA I didn't have all these great folks to share quilting with, so it's well worth the trade off.

Ditto Joyce,
And yes, Welcome to the UFO club Nancy. LOL
It seems you are in very good company with the UFO's even I have one right now. Had to stop to do the graduation wall hangings which are now done. Hopefully tomorrow after my chores and errands I can start pinning my quilt sandwich and get the bargello done. Time to move on to something new for me.

Welcome to the UFO club MNnancy!
Yes, I worked on a quilt today, yesterday and Tuesday. I got it finished... It actually a table runner from Spring 2011 - Easy Quilt- " Candy Flowers" designed by Jodie Davis. Very pretty! I like mine though and finished putting the buttons on this morning, just in time for my DS to stop by and take a picture from on top of a chair.
I just finished today a sawtooth star. It is scrappy done in cream, brown and red. It will be given as a gift to my husband's neice as a wedding gift in a couple of weeks. It takes me months to finish one quilt if I work onit constantly because I am a throw back. I hand quilt!
Flo - kudos to you for keeping on with the hand quilting, me too! I also have a lot of tops done by machine, but don't do much of it myself. Hand quilting was my first love, and still love it after all these years, for special quilts! Will we get to see pictures before it goes to it's lucky new owner?
MMM. beautiful table runner
hi flo welcome to the group. good for you, to hand quilt your treasures
Very pretty Moommist. I really like your center fabric. Makes it look like your flowers are growing at the edge of a pond.
Such a lovely tablerunner, msmoonmist. I haven't sewn for awhile, just too many things getting in the way. But it felf sooooo good to hear the hum of the machine, although I'm working on a wall hanging. Doing the New York Beauty, but was have difficulty with the curves and laying flat, so am trying a new technique for me called appli-curves by Elaine Waldschnitt, has any one else done this technique? I will let you know how I like it when I finish this wall hanging.
OOOOh, I really like the table runner. I can see now what all the buttons were that got left behind the other day. Ginny
