Wow Carol.  Are all those fabrics for that mystery?  That's a lot of different fabrics.  You've picked out some beauties.

Yes, I did work on a quilt today even though one of my gf called and said she would be over after lunch and never showed up. I put everything away and now, I feel I have lost a whole afternoon of good quilting time. But here is what I did this morning.

I finished F & P Civil War Sampler top... got the borders on and now she is ready for Lizzie!

Really beautiful fabric Carol.  Glad you posted here so I could see them.  I haven't had the time for the mystery quilts yet, Someday.

I have slowly but surely working on a Bargello quilt.  Have the top half done and the bottom half almost done.  Then comes the hard part of quilting it.  Truely this quilt was not as hard as I at first thought it would be.  Now if I just don't mess up the quilting part it will be a pretty quilt.

Tomorrow will be a no sew day as I have a club meeting in the morning, a fish fry in the afternoon and another meeting in the evening. Plus it is Derby Day here in KY. The whole state goes a little crazy on Derby Day.

Catch you all later.

This is what I produce when I just don't want to have to think.  My brain is on overload this week!

This is the customer quilt I finished this week.  I did the quilting and the binding.  The borders were very wonky and some of the t-shirts pretty stretchy but it really turned out nice.

Jeanine

Love your "thoughtless" quilt.  The quilting on the t-shirt quilt is great.

Jeanine,

The scrap quilt looks like you raided the cupboard at my Senior Center.  We have mindless squares cut there too, if we need something in a hurry.

The tee shirt quilt is really lovely.  Looks so nice.  I'm sure the customer will be thrilled.

The t-shirt quilt was just picked up.  She loved it.  Whew!  :-)

I am on to the military quilts I have been putting off.  If I can get 4 tops done before I get my quilt machine, they will be all ready to quilt and I won't have to worry about them.  I will be wanting to play on the longarm anyway so that is my motivation.

I also had a coworker ask me to make him a king-size quilt for his bed.  He is in no hurry so that is good.  Something else to think about.  He has actually be very supportive of me, both at work and with the quilting ministry and business.  That one will be fun to make.
