I worked on a couple of quilts today!  I was able to finish the top of a baby quilt for a new Grandnephew that is on the way approximately June 6th.  Picture to follow, I used Moda, Lollipop Charms, with brown polka-dot sashing strips and brown striped border.  The backing will also be the brown striped border.  This quilt is named "Chocolate Covered Bananas" because my niece saw the Charms and saw the banana print and thought they were very "cool".  Because of this, I placed the bananas at the center of the quilt.  I did use my EQ5 to design this quilt.

I also worked on another baby quilt that I designed using EQ5. This one is for a Grandniece that was born last September, a few months early.  It has taken me a while to make up my mind how I wanted to do this quilt, because of the machine embroidery portion I wanted to include.  Hopefully I will be able to post pictures soon.

Have a great night!

One quilting project, like one cookie, is never enough.

Yes I did post re: Square n Square...go to qnntv.com, click on videos on demand, search Jodibarrows, lots of SnS.  or go to your favorite search enging e.g. google and type jodi barrows, you can purchase direct online.

I have almost 200 more flying geese to do, it is so simple using SnS Option #3, I can get 2 flying geese at a time with one (1) simple cut.  This tool is simply amazing and fool prof, direction are also simple, I read the book and the phanplet that came with the SnS, many times.  I've watched all her videos many times also, she is an excellent teacher, easy to follow and understand.  Also her quilts are awesome!

Joni~Thanks so much for the Square n Square directions to find it. I'll be going there shortly. What are you working on that has that many flying geese in it? I like making flying geese but hundreds all at once? WTG!

Ms. Mist,

You're scaring me.  I was going to start my Dear Jane today but now I wonder if I've gotten myself into something that isn't going to be fun.  I looked at G-6 and it is intimidating.  I can do this, I can do this, I can do this.

Prairie Dog

G6 is a bear.  But the other blocks aren't so bad.  They are just tiny.  I suggest you do some of the other blocks first before you attempt G6.
