Dear fellow quilters,

I am embarking on a new adventure.    I have my own business blog now!!

It doesn't  have much on it as of yet.  However, I need your help to make sure that it is functioning properly. 

Could you please go visit it.

  • Go to the two pages
  • write a comment ( I need to know if this is functioning properly) 
  • and come back here and let me know what you think

Wendy, I don't know how to leave a comment, but that's not your fault, just my inexperience with all of this.  The blog looks fine to me - love the way the quilts show up!

click on  "about me"  it will take you to the second page

Had a little trouble posting a comment but that was probably me and not your blog.  :o)  I too am anonymous since I couldn't figure out anything else.  Just call me computer illiterate!  :o)

Cheri,

do you want to put the link in a blog post or on the blog page.

 If you want it in  a post,

  • Highlight your links URL (or type the URL)
  • rignt click your mouse and copy
  • open your post window
  • past your url
  • highlight your link
  • in the header above where you are writing, you will see a pic that looks like a chain link
  • click on the chain link
  • re past the URL into the first block
  • click on the arrow to the right of the "Target " box
  • select either open in same window or open in new window.
  • at this point  leave the title field empty.
  • click  insert

  Now you should have a blue colored link that is underlined.

I do not know how computer savy you are so I hope I have generalized well enough.

To post to your blog

  • Go to your blog page
  • click on control panel
  • find  and click on the manage tab
  • find the list tab and click on it
  • click on the create a new list button
  • enter a title and description
  • click add list item
  • enter the URL and Other info it asks for
  • click save.

 I hope this will help you

I tried to leave a comment, but your settings are not allowing me to post.  Thank you for the compliment. I design websites but blogging is a whole other language. I am trying to learn on the fly.  could you please go back and fallow my blog. it would help me to generate more traffic. I wont have the rest of it up and running until summer.
