Nancy - hope you enjoy retirement as much as I do - not that we have any more time to quilt--we just think up more things to do!!
Since you all are showing your pieces, guess I will, too - we had to go to town today - building supplies for him and pick up the FW I took to be checked, all it needed was clean, oil, and adjust - bless it's hardworking little heart!! So plan to do the 10, 11, and 12 steps tomorrow, too.
I finished up the next steps this morning, can't wait to see how this is all going to come together. Love your fabrics Carol!

Jeanine - I hate to be the bearer of bad news but I think you had better check that little piece that we had to do 72 of, I think #10, I am pretty sure you sewed the second piece on wrong. It is suppose to look sort of like wings.
I tried laying out the pieces in a pattern today and my idea is very close to yours, I hope we are close.

Well, that just answered my confusion with that funny looking piece. But I didn't think about it much. Thanks for catching that!! I will have to fix those before Friday so I don't get behind!!! Too funny.
Wow, so many beautiful piece coming together, with so many beautiful fabric choices. I almost regret not participating on this one. Maybe later. But I finally have all my rows on MQ2 done! Hope to finish sewing the rows together today.

Here is my step 10-12. I think I know how the blocks will look but will not post them as I know there are some people who don't like spoilers. I think the quilt will look wonderful.
