I love yoga. I am in gentle yoga every Wed. morning. I can't touch my toe either, I can only get half way down my shins. I love the end of class, when we're laying and relaxing on the mats the instructor comes and massages our heads.

Hi Kelly. I too love the end of class - savasana..
I don't like the end of class because after being so relaxed, you have to get up and leave! LOL

Sharon - that's so funny! You're right - I want savasana to last for the rest of the day. Once I'm down there on the floor on my mat, may as well just stay there and enjoy the calm relaxation.

Mary/Kris - What is the Wii Fit like? I didn't know it included yoga. I thought about learning more about yoga - it doesn't look too bad. I know I have to do something more active - my scale is yelling at me.

Annette:Mary/Kris - What is the Wii Fit like?
Annette,
it's fun. The yoga portion is mainly poses that you hold for a length of time. You get a "trainer" that talks you through it then you do it. The focus is on balance more than anything else. You can create a routine once you feel comfortable and it suggests poses that work opposing muscles for body balance.
Kris explains it well. There is a demo for each pose and there is a hugh variety of poses, some easy, some quite hard. The Wii fit plus added the feature where you can create your own routine, which I really like.
Mary
Unfortunately, I find that I must go to class to actually get any exercise! Coming up with a routine at home for me just doesn't work.

Leslie, toes? What are those? I haven't seen mine in months when I'm standing up strait. When I shower the water turns cold while I try to find them!!!!! Heeeeelp! I need WW or clamps on my lips!

Nana:Sometimes Gini isn't a skier either....she is a faller.
Nana, I'm adding my prayers for Gini but at least she can bend down and tie her boots! I'm using velcro these days.
My kids are teaching me how to belly crawl in case I fall and can't get up! LOL

Marie,
you're crazy. LOL. you don't have to get it all on the first try. Just concentrate on keeping good form. You'll get better with practice...Now where have I heard that before?
It will help you relax when you FMQ or afterwards.
Don't go breaking anything.
Kris:Don't go breaking anything.
Kris, I promise I won't attempt anything until after Italian day here on Sunday the 20th.
I guess I can live with that Marie.
