Hi,  You have a beautiful place to work.  It is so light and cherry.  Thanks for sharing.

It took me a while to figure out what the difference between Jerry's studio and mine.  the basic premiss is, we can't work when it is untidy, everything has to be in place and clean,  My studio simply has a few more items in it.  They are all in their places, but I like to have pictures and I have a shelf over my window with nick nacks and a stereo with CD's etc.  it is perfect for me.  I could not work in your studio Jerry, I'd be worrying about the stray bit of fabric on the floor, a ruler left out etc.  I tidy at the end, if there is an end between projects, but eventually everything is put away.  Like this weekend when my grandaughter was here and she was sewing her pillows, I had a good turnout of shelves and drawers, rearranged a couple of areas so I am good to go again.

Oh thanks so much for your kind post Marlene.  I do appreciate being on the main floor in my home.....it's so much nicer to have natural light.  Today there is wind and blowing snow here in Calgary, but it's still fairly bright here in my studio.

Jerry, Love your studio it is as neat as mine, Also, like you, I cannot work in a messy room it would make me nervous. Just, a thought, what does that say about us neat freaks and Gini and others like her who love the clutter???  Oh well, Its what makes this wonderful group of ours.QCA has all kinds of different folks!!! I can't put my iron in the same room as my sewing machine :( in this older home I blow the circuit.  Hopefully my DH will upgrade it someday :)  due to his brain injury I don't pressure for any upgrades as it stresses him out.  All in the good lords time :)

It's great to see different spaces. I used to have my ironing area as well so that all I had to do was swivel. Then my body dictated  that I had to have more movement so all of a sudden it didn't bother me that my "studio" is in corners of three different rooms.
