Not I for the fourth day in a row.  Does Saturday's ECB's visits and purchases at the quilt shops  count as quilting?

I did press my fabrics for the "bag" quilt.  The rest of the day has been spent reorganizing my sewing area.   It was a disaster.

Nope. I haven't taken a stitch in WEEKS.        :S  Gosh! That's scary.

Nope. Not Iguanas, Kathy. Think smaller.

Quilters are people who strip so they won't go topless.

Just out of curiosity, is anyone quilting today? LOL

Working on DJ blocks. No schedule this afternoon and not much happening in the ED.

I bet its chameleon...that would fit in perfect with her profession as a spy.  She would just blend into the scenery and nobody would even know she was there...

Working on DJ blocks.

Good for you Kris. I ordered some background fabric from Connecting Threads. Tuesdays the LQS has fat quarters on sale so I plan to pick up a few and get started on SBS. I am a little scared of some of those blocks, they look like they are way beyond my abilities. LOL, It might take me so long to get to them that my abilities improve.

I still haven't heard anything about my Baby so have to do  other things till it comes home. I finished piecing the hospital baby quilt and got it sandwiched. I was going to sandwich Boxy Stars but can't find the backing. It is for a chemo patient project and they asked us to use Hobbs Heirloom 80/20. They want the quilts to be very drapey. It is so thin I wonder how warm it will be. It should be easy to quilt.

I think CC must be hanging out with the cameleons so she can change her appearance. LOL! Good guessing Kathy.

Pat

The Hobbs 80/20 is actually very warm.  I guess the polyester adds warmth.  I used to use it all the time.

Glad to hear that Nana. I have never had chemo, but they say many of the patients are cold so I was hoping it would be warm enough for them.

I didn't quilt today. But I finished one mailbox and started another. We got a kiddie pool for Molly so we take her out and play in that everyday. Her routine is pee, poop, pool, roll in the grass, shake off and then good for the day. She's an awesome dog already.

I'm looking at my strips cut for Nana's project and I'm really liking them. They are sitting on Ellie ready to go.

I thought about starting the quilting on my UFO sandwiched quilt but I'm reading the Fool Proof Machine Quilting book and want to finish that before I start quilting anything. Every thing is connected so I'm not making any progress yet.

Pat~

What is the hold up on your machine? I think you'll have to start demanding it or at least get a loaner. Tell them you are severely withdrawn and you are no longer responsible for your actions.

Pat,

I agree with Diane. They've had that machine long enough. It's too late for a loaner I say they give you a new one for all your trouble.

About the SBS blocks - yes some of them are scary looking and could be quite tedious. Just do the best you can and improvise when you think it's not worth the hassle. I'm going really slowly on two of the appliqué blocks. They're giving me a hard time since they're so small. Gini gave me some great tips though. DJ is just taking all the focus right now.

ROFLOL!  ! ! OK Kris & Diane I am going over there tomorrow and demand a brand new machine! I might have to sue for emotional distress. So, I guess I better go to Babylock's website and decide which one I want. LOL LOL LOL!

Pat~

Check out the new Symphony. Which Babylock do you have? I love mine. I would start getting mad at them though and demand your machine. It shouldn't take that long for maintenance/check up.  What if this was your business? You couldn't go that long without your machine. Maybe they are using your machine as a breeder and making more baby Babylocks.
