Sue Posted: Tue, Jan 11 2011 11:41 AM

I have been sewing since I was about seven years old. I would sit on the floor by my aunt at her sewing machine, and she would give me her scraps so I could make clothes for my dolls. I love sewing it relaxes me when I get upset. I have one cheap sewing machine that I quilted on for a long time and when I have some one who wants to learn to sew  I usually pass it on to them and get another $100 machine but I do have a few good machine too Designer 1 - Diamond - huskylock 936 all Husqvarna Vicking  machines. I love to sew but the cost of the machine to me really doesn't matter. Everything I make is given away to family or friends or friends of them.  I do have a lot of picture of quilts they are not the everyday quilts. I have been giving my family and friends when some one passes a strip quilt in stead of flowers. I have also made memory pillows when it is out of town. I would like to post some but I don't know if I can post them just under my name so if people didn't want to look they don't have too. to much information.

Sue, welcome to our growing family.  You could also post to Show & Tell Gallery which is above in the red bar, where you'll also find instructions to do so.

Welcome Sue.  You can make your own little gallery.  You will find that on your "Home" page.  Then they will show up in the "show and tell" so everyone can Ooh and Aah and leave you nice notes about your quilts.

Rhonda  I sure haven't seen anything annoying from you.  People watching is great, it celebrates all the differences we have, just look at this quilting community, all of us different and in different states, yet we share a common thread.  You just stay curious.

Men are nosey, women are curious the reason------A man just wants to know what is going on,  A woman will help if she sees a need.
