Hi everyone!  My name is Diane.  I've been quilting/sewing for about 3 years.  Just upgraded my basic sewing machine to a new embroidery/sewing machine.  Having a lot of fun and hope to learn and try a lot of new techniques in the near future.  Looking forward to communicating with everyone or anyone.

Welcome Diane.  I am a newbie to embroidery too.  I have had my machine for about 5 months but haven't played with it much yet.  There is a group for embroidery that you may liek to check out on the "Groups" tab.

Hi Diane

I'm a newbie this month too.  What kind of embroidery machine did you get?  My first quilt will be a combo of quilting and embroidery.  I just finished embroidering the 42nd quilt top block yesterday.  Big milestone for me as it is my first quilting project.  So far, I am still officially "Quiltless."

Oh, my machines are a Singer Quantum XL6000 and a Baby Lock Evolve.  I'm very happy with both of them.

Hi Diane,

Welcome.

What part of central Pa. are you from?   I grow up  just outside of Philly.

Embroidery/sewing machines are a total blast.

Hi Gini:

I've made only a couple of quilts and several table runners, wall hangings, etc.  After the holidays, I need to finish the quilt I'm making for me!  I think it's called Girls Growing up.  What are you working on?
