Joyce Louise Posted: Sun, Dec 19 2010 4:33 PM

I need to figure out what to do. I guess introducing myself is first. I am Joyce Louise from Coventry, R.I. I love quilting, just never seem to have enough time to work in my sewing room. I hope this coming year to get alot more quilting in.  I hope this group will keep me in my sewing room.   I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas.      Joyce

Joyce

Welcome to QCA.  I hope you enjoy the site and chat with us frequenty.  Just browse around the site and don't forget to check out the groups section.  We have several groups and have lots of projects that you can join in.  We are just getting started with the Farmer's Wife Sampler and would love to have you join us.   Just jump into any of the conversations.  Everyone is really friendly and helpful.  If you have specific questions just ask and someone will be there to help.

Joyce,  I could have written the very same thing.  I'm lucky to have a sewing room, but it is a room I can't get to during the busy holiday season.  I am a school teacher, so the precious days off between Christmas and New Years will be days I try to steep myself in my dreams for projects in 2011.  I'm  "up" in Webster, NY, almost to Lake Ontario.....land of "lake-effect" snow and plenty of fellow quilters.  Enjoy your holidays and best for sewing in 2011.  Debby Z

Debby Z.

Welcome to you as well.  I hope you have a great time here.   Wouldn't want all of your snow but you live in a beautiful part of the country.

Gini, I was going to tell Joyce the same thing lol. Welcome to the site Joyce, and yes Gini, is right unless your computer is in the sewing room your in trouble. I seem to chat more about quilting than actually doing any LOL

Welcome Joyce

I agree with the rest, we tend to spend a lot of time on line talking about what ever, quilting, husbands, fur babies, cookies, you name it we'll talk about it.  Jump right in there with us.  Oh, I am in Kentucky.

Debbie

Welcome to QCA,  but please keep your snow up there.  It has been snowing all month off and on here, and I am tired of the stuff already.  Hope you will post some of your projects, everyone loves to see each other's quilts and blocks.  There are so many talented people in this club.

Oh, my, well joining QCA may or may not help in that regard.  If you're like me, you'll be conversing online with all the great gals here more than you'll be sewing
