Marge (AKA Dimples):
My problem is that most of my "Stuff" isn't official UFO's

Marge, if I counted all the kits and the fabrics I bought for making a quilt as UFO's I think I'd jump off a bridge!  Repeat after me "they are not UFO's unless you cut into the fabric or made the first stitch in a kit".  My fabric stash is now called decorations or fabric art to enhance my studio.  It's just like curtains or a picture on the wall to make your room look cozy and inviting, get it?  LOL

Thank goodness!  I'd surely have to jump off that bridge if I had to count all.

I just started quilting but i wish i had someone like hands on. Quilting is alot of work dont know much about it like true triangles I have made about 4 quilts one is strips 45 by 73 inches you might of seen my post that I belong to a catholic church in milledgeville ga and we make quilts for wounded soldiers and knit ascraves also this month we sent out 75 quilts and about 25 scarves. The quilts have to be all cotton only red/white/blue I want to have a pattern thats easy but with some style; i would love to do around the world, but dont think i can do that.

Bonnie:
WELCOME Kath!!  Trust me, you won't be quiltless long, LOL.

HaHa!  She could be quiltless for quite a while like many of us but she won't be topless!

Did I just say that!!!

It has been one month since I joined QCA.  It has been great fun.  Seventy-eight posts later, I'm meeting some of the best people.  Thank you again for the warm welcome.

Kath

We are really going to have to change that moniker of Quiltless soon.   No one on this site should remain quiltless for long.

Hi Nana

It is kind of a disconnect to have a "Quiltless" member of Quilters' Club of America.

I have made progress though.  I have used batting for the first time and I have done 9 blocks of a 42 block rag quilt.

There is a 3 day weekend coming up. The possibilities are there!

Yeah we will cheer, but don't expect any of us to do the splits :)

I will help cheer and I can even get the granddaughter to do the splits for us.  And all the tumbling and cartwheeling and all that other stuff that my bones won't stand for anymore.
