What did we do today???? Spent a bunch of money. :o{ We went by our favorite furniture store and bought a new mattress and foundation plus a new entertainment center. We have been shopping for a couple of months now and finally bit the bullet. Our new stuff will be delivered on Feb. 2nd. We could have gotten it next week when they deliver to Griffin but Dave will be away at his tax volunteer training. Besides this will give us an extra week to hopefully sell our old entertainment center. If we can't sell it, then we will have to see if the Salvation Army or Goodwill stores in Griffin pick up. We don't want to have to mess with hauling it anywhere. The only reason we are even thinking of replacing it is because my tech junkie hubby wants a new HDTV.

Marge, someone I know recently said she was going to make a quilt out of old ugly sweaters that she and her daughter had received over the years. The sock quilt idea reminded me of this.
This is what I did today, I finished the borders on my MQ3.

Very nice Leslie! I love the borders...really accents the quilt.
I baked dozens of cookies and made homemade cinnamon rolls...all for my daughter to sell so she could raise money for her Homecoming Queen expedition. I also did laundry and made spaghetti and meatballs for dinner with homemade garlic bread.
Now I have to get ready to go watch DD cheer and then I plan on coming home and taking care of my sewing room (if I can get rid of this headache). If not, then it will be at the very top of tomorrow's priority list. GRR really wanted to have that done today.
