Jeanine

The tootsie roll quilt is so cute.  I also love the sweet sixteen.  Don't envy your friend working on scrub tops....I just don't enjoy doing clothes anymore....LOL>   Dusty is beautiful.

Today I worked on a case to hold arrows for our 4-H archery group. After which I scanned through my favorite Quilter's magazines for inspiration to start a new quilt.

I think my next quilt will be a mariners compass quilt. I've been thinking of sewing one for some time as a gift to my sweet husband, and I need a challenge.

O.K., I just started on quilting the sailboat quilt. Working on the cross hatching over the boats right now and then on to the cable around them. I also finished putting on my binding on the Garden Quilt for Ronald McDonald House this morning. Isn't it sad that we only ever see the fingers and toes of our DH. lol

I added the quilt label to the quilt I made to benefit ShelterBox, and international disaster relief agency.  The quilt features photos of children and adults from last year's Vacation Bible School; ShelterBox was our mission project.  The quilt will be raffled off on February 13th, although I'll be sorry to see it go (I'm secretly hoping to win it back!).

(This is the top, before it was quilted and bound.)

Jeanine

You're making me look like a slacker--I do a few blocks and read an d go lay down. I am a Slacker! I get to get this wall handing down so I can start the baby quilt. Whine whine whine. I need to just tie myself to the macchine  but then I miss all of you so mucch!........................Can't win

So I did a few blocks for my valentine wall hanging. Gotta see who has the best hangers or them. That don't cost my fabric quota for the year.  I am nearing new highs and want to keep it low this year. I must reducde my projects boxes and UFO's. IT is out of control.I have an illness i will admit I love to buy fabric.

You, Jeaninie on the other hand I admire because you do so much................to be young again! LOL you have more energy, I think.

Keep up the great wrok I love to look at everything you make its so beautiful.

I have until March. I'll see how many I get done by then. Maybe I'll have one too many. It would make a nice couch quilt. :)
