Cathie -- I think it took me longer than 6 months to "come out of the closet".  Now they can't shut me up!!  :o)

Welcome Cathie. Glad you have jumped in. What are you working on now? I am trying to finish up some old things before I start anything new..

I'm glad I came out too. I love my husban but when I talk to him about quilting I get the "deer in the headlight " look from him. LOL

Cathie

Welcome and hope you enjoy.  Love talking with new people and hearing about their lives and quilting.  Hope you share some pics of quilts with us.

I know that look!  Dave is so sweet when I talk to him about quilting.  You know from the look that it is right over his head!  About like me when he starts talking computers.  :o)

Cathie~

Welcome and I love your CAT!!!!!!!!! Gorgeous.

Now that you've sneaked out of the closet it becomes easier to jump right in. That's how we all did it and now they can't get rid of us! We love to see what you are working

on. Looking forward to getting to know you.

I'm sorry DH isn't that supportive in quilting for you. You know you have a huge support system right here. I think quilting is a life style for us...it's a major part of who and what we are. Even if it's a hobby it becomes part of your soul and spirit. I don't think you will be giving up quilting any time soon. You're doing amazing things already.

Diane, thanks for the kind words, an no I will not be giving it up. I enjoy it to much. I don't think he means to not be supportive ,he just doesn't understand it. but he never really has gotten into hobbies or any kinda activity to make things . I don't get to mad at him for it  LOL...Barbara
