SHAZAM! Thank YOU! MILLIONS ! I needed a really COOL gift for one of my quilting buddies who happens to be in dog rescue and THIS is IT! Oh, is she ever going to be IMPRESSED thanks to YOU! So this will be a part of her gift. I hope Ms Cricket will share some of her poodle fabric with me to make this ! : )
Thank you HUGS
Thank you, Marge. I use to live in Hong Kong and bought these in the market made with brocade silk. I have never thought of making them myself.
Thank you so much for this. What a great way to use up scraps.
Made about 50 with kleenex for the women at my church to give out when they visited the nursing homes during the holidays
welcome pauline, ebeckee, and sago. it is always great to meet new quilting friends gini

I make these for wedding showers for the women in the family of the bride. I have monogrammed on one
flap "Tears of Joy" and on the other flap I monogram the bride and grooms names and their wedding
date. Makes a great remembrance of the wedding and also gives kleenex for those tears of joy.
Oh and I use the colors of the wedding party to make my tissue covers.
I've made a ton of these tissue holders using my embroidery machine...they are all made in the hoop, and make great gifts for kids and adults alike. One has a pocket to hold hand sanitizer on one side and tissues on the other.

I too want to thank you. My mother had received one of the tissue holders. She passed away in April of last year and while clearing out her treasures my sisters and I were trying to figure out how to make one without taking our mother's apart. Now we can.
Oh my goodness that is too cute! I will have to make a few. Thank you.

Hey Laura jean. What a nice little rememberance. Great idea. I made close to 200 of these for the ladies Christmas tea at church and so far over another 100 for the annual fund raiser that my LQS has for the Humane Society (Hence all the dog & cat prints in my photo).
laura-jean welcome, what a great wedding gift idea gini
