Enjoyed program.  BUT, Mark keep the language above board.  Examples, degrading name that was used to refer to several different women, four letter words.  We don't need them in a quilt show.  Thanks.

I just watched Episodes 1 and 2.  Loved it!  The little girl was so cute and I have never seen a fairy garden.  Thank you, Jodie for your good questions to your guests.  They were questions that I would have asked, because I am a beginner.  For example: the kitty quilt- "How would you quilt it, so that you don't compromise the kitty design".

Mark, I loved you and your energy. I feel your excitement and it is nice and fun to watch. I have to agree about the language. I know it was in "context" to what you were saying, but really not needed.  I want to relax and watch, but don't want to hear women referred to as "broads" or hear inappropriate comments. I want to feel comfortable sharing the videos with my niece to get her interested as well. You are terrific and don't need to add in the four letter words. :-)

Would love to see more young quilters! Great idea.  Good start. I am hooked and ready for more!

Lisa-Karen,

I agree with you - I haven't seen much of Mark Lipinsky but think that that is his style from watching him.  I just let it pass me over and looked at what was going on - I will not let it stop me from watching further shows.

I did love his Fairy garden and have already started one in my garden... I have always wondered what I could use those little quilting tiles for.  I do have a house in my garden already - it was supposed to be a bird feeder but didn't work - so I had it set on the ground for the little people - now I am going to look for a fairy figurine to set up... it would be so so cute...I moved it yesterday over by my Althea tree and will set up a path to it... going to be fun...

I love the quilts and seeing people in their home environment...I applaud the one woman on the small pieces that she made and the immense # of triangles - wow... I have made quilts with 2000 pieces in them but that triangle quilt will probably upwards of 6000...  I love it!   Not going to do it - but love it!

It would be interesting to see how many fairy gardens are started from this episode. LOL

Yes, you are right about the quilt with so many blocks. That is only a dream for me. The quilting was incredible!

Love it and will be back for more. :-) LK from SC
