As we get older, we start to loose our friends. Last summer Hal passed away. I was shocked when Pastor called me with the news. Then in November before coming to Arizona my friend Carol passed away from lung cancer. And now this past Wednesday my friend Linda passed away. Linda suffered from diabetes...

Since my car accident 4 years ago, I have survived because of my friends here in Arizona. Moving back home to Ohio and becoming a shut-in, I discovered that my old friends were no longer...I don't know how to put it into words. They were happy to hear from me, come on over, oh you can't drive...
I lived in Arizona for almost 11 years and the past two years that I've become a snowbird it seems the winters have become colder! What gives? I don't remember the winters being this cold when I lived here. Altho I shouldn't complain considering back home in Ohio it is much, much colder....

I was honored when I was asked to join a group of ladies, some of whom had been in this quilting bee for awhile. I came into the group not knowing what to expect and found that I have now been honored by their friendship. This group of girls are my Friday afternoon therapy...we laugh, talk, share life...
