Win one of three Let Freedom Ring quilt kits! (Value: $130.00!)

The Let Freedom Ring quilt was specifically designed (by Erin Witt) to meet the guidelines for donation to the Quilts of Valor organization. The finished size is 55" x 71".

Whether you are an experienced quilter, someone who has never made a quilt before, or someone who simply wants to perform national service, you can participate in Under Our Wings, a program that allows anyone to participate in making a comforting Quilt of Valor for an American armed services member touched by war.

Calvin was injured in Iraq and am happy to say that he now has Canine Companions for Independence Dog, Chesney, as his Service Dog. I come from a family that takes to heart patriotism, honor, country and God. My ancestors have fought in the Revolutionary War and participated in the Boston Tea Party. My grandfather was is in the Navy during WWII. My father was in the army and fought in Korea. My husband is a submariner in the Navy and is still serving. My son is a Marine helicopter pilot and is currently serving. My family is only a few who have helped shape this great nation of ours, who have protected our way of life, and who have bravely stepped in to help those in people or countries in need. This is the reason why I want to honor all military and their families (who sacrifice a lot), past and present. I will be donating the quilt to either Quilts of Valor, The Wounded Warriors, Quilts4Military so that it finds a service member showing honor, love, and a heart-felt thanks."
