What lovely warm colors.  I am working on a design depicting the prairie landscape - these are the shades of dormant grasses which would be an asset to the design.  I will have to check them out even if I don't win.  thanks, cindy

I am just starting a new 13 month block of the month club at a local quit shop.  We use our own fabric in an applique quilt we work on in the shop.  This fabric would be great as the backgrounds.

What a beautiful collection! I have a new love affair with Jo Morton prints and I just participated in a block party that would be the perfect pattern using these prints and some warm reds I have in my stash. They would warm up my holiday quilting because they would be the lights to my mediums and darks!

The toasted collection is the perfect neutral addition when you don't want the traditional bright Christmas reds, greens and whites - it will blend perfectly with the more muted greens and burgandys and will  be great in a holiday quilt!

These would be great for one of my upcoming projects ~ a "low volume" quilt.  Most of my quilts "scream loudly"  (can't imagine where they get it from!).  So a nice "calm" quilt is just what I need to work on, especially after the chaotic holiday season.  Thanks for the opportunity.

Possibly use to make table runners or placemats as shower gifts.  Or just add to my stash of fabric that I use to make lap robes for nuring home residents.

The toasted fabrics coordinate beautifully with a Jerusalem skyline print in browns I recently bought -- they would set off my favorite golds and rusts so well!  A table runner, a lap quilt, even a wall hanging -- the possibilities are exciting!

A log cabin or courthouse steps design, with the Jerusalem print at the heart; I can see it now.

Beautiful cream fabrics! I have a problem with selecting light fabric, some how I always get distracted by color, so I've been constantly searching for lights to do some other quilts with light back grounds. And I'd love to do a quilt that is all light nutral colors. I think this wonderful collection would be a great start.

Thank you for the opportunity!

I make quilts and donate them for people who are fight life threating illness. The quilts are made personal to each person who gets them. I have hand tracing from all of their family member and friends when possible. Some quilts have messages included either on the fabric or in pockets made into the quilts from all their loved ones. It enables them to have their family and friends with them even when cannot be. The people that I have given the quilts to have said that the quilts give them something to hold on to in quiet times. They feel like they are never alone.

Having the Toasted warm colours would give me an area to place the hand tracings that I quilt into these quilts with the owners name and a place for loved ones to leave messages for the person it is made for.

Thank you

Although I quilt with many different fabrics, muted color shades and small prints (think Civil War fabrics) are my favorites. I have just begun pulling fabrics from my stash for a quilt with dusty blues, greens and reds. The toasty tans of this collection would complement my choices perfectly. We keep our house temperature at 64º, so a lap quilt for cool evenings would be "Toasty" in more than one way!!

Those are really nice tones together.  It is so hard to find fabrics that are "like" neutral colors.  So many times you find neutrals that clash with each other because of the under color.  Those colors would look good in the neutrals I am collecting for my quilt.

When I saw the Toasted Collections I immediately thought of my planned desert scene.  I have lived in the snow and now in the hot humid South and spent 11 years in the desert of New Mexico.  All the tones you have in the collection remind me of the hills and sand colors looking out of Albuquerque to the west.  For miles you could see  shades of sandy browns and creams.  I think for quilters these shades would be a good addition to a stash.

my name is Karen Vanderstoep of Redmond, Wa.  Most  all of my quilts are for orphans in 3rd world countries.  I am an active member of "Quilts Beyond Borders".  Active means I do lots of the sewing myself, I lead a group of 10-12 in weekly sewing for QBB.  I kit up tops, get them ready to send to longarmers and also have the un-fun job of repairing items that need it.  I prepared 150 quilt kits, which were given out at the Houston Quilt Festival.  I plough through a lot of fabric, some purchased, also donated and scavanged from thrift shops and such.

I would love to have an assortment of nice, new, neutrals to set off the happy colors we try to incorporate in the these "kid quilts".  If you've run out of bedrooms and laps for quilts, there is just as much joy in quilting for orphans.

Toasty and warm - it would be great to use in an autumn or winter quilt.  Or a Latte quilt - all done in beautiful neutrals. Beautiful collection.

I have been wanting to make a whole quilt in neutrals.  I recently saw one in one of the many magazines I receive that really warmed me up!

My "holiday" quilting will be over by Jan...But I do see sand and beaches in these fabrics...so they will come in handy for my spring projects.......

I received Edyta Sitar's new book and devoured every page!  These fabrics would be perfect to make her patterns and my stash is woefully short of beautiful neutrals like the Toasted Collection by Andover.

I never seem to have enough lights and neutrals and would love to use these on a Virginia Reel block quilt me and my sewing group are working on.

The Toasted Collection would be a wonderful choice to complement  a red and green Christmas quilt or Christmas tree skirt.

The Toasted Collection will warm up my holiday as well as the holiday for my elderly neighbors. I've been wanting to do a quit for them and have searched and searched for the perfect design. This is it. They're sadly mistreated and taken for granted by their grandson and great-grandson that live with them. I'd love to add a project to my list and let them know that others appreciate them
