"Flower Bouquets" by Gloria Hropvich

This is the quilt I made for my daughter. I decided to go with "loud"
colors and when I chose what fabric to use, I cut circles from each
block and inserted a white block underneath of Flower Bouquets that I
colored with crayons, pressed between paper and attached to the
underside of the top block. I used small pieces of the "Loud Fabric"
for the trim around. I hadn't been quilting very long so I had a
couple friends hand quilt it for me. The hand quilting is absolutely
gorgeous!!

"Wilmington Print Floral Quilt" by Peggy Schaff

Last fall, I saw these fabrics (Wilmington prints) in the fall issue of EZ Quilts magazine, and had asked where to get them.

I finally found them online, ordered just the main panel and ¼ yard package. I did not plan on doing a whole bed quilt so this is the layout I designed using just the panel and ¼ yard pieces. What do you think?

"Spring Flowers" by Terry Wright

I'm a member of Quilters Club & the Spring issue arrived just in time! The president of our guild, Mountain Laurel Quilters, Clarkesville, GA, issued a challenge, wherein each member brought a yard of fabric in a brown paper bag with only her name inside. Everyone chose a bag not her own & the challenge is to make something for the owner. I received the lavender fabric & when I saw "Spring Flowers", I knew it was perfect ! I changed things here & there, but very happy with my result & I hope the dear lady I made it for will love it in May, when we have an annual luncheon & display our challenge pieces.

This is a table runner I made and quilted it stitch in the ditch method. I followed the instructions out of a quilting magazine to make it.

I had these flower squares and didn't know what to do with them, so this is what I ended up with. It is a large queen and hand quilted.
