It always amazes me how different a quilt can look by changing the recommended fabrics! This quilt was made from the "Lions & Tigers & Zebras Oh My" pattern in the Summer 2008 F&P Easy Quilts magazine. I decided to go with a fabric that showcases cars, trucks, etc., The back is the same blue & white check that is in the border. Working with a checkered fabric is kind of a pain, not sure I will do that again. I call it "Cars and Trucks and More, Oh My" It is a gift for my brother's new grandson. Not sure what he is to me - a grand-nephew?

I made this quilt, called "Mustang Spirit" for my son. The center block has a digitized embroidered replica of his own car. It took 2 1/2 days to get that right. There are "ghost mustangs" running around the border. Designed on EQ6.
