"8 Point Star" by Lynn Oliver

Here is my most recent 8 point star baby quilt - 3rd one this year.  I learned to make the star quilt from a diamond template while on a mission trip to the Crow Creek Indian Reservation in SD this summer.  In return for the lesson, I make the quilt and give them back to the community.

great quilt!!  Crow Creek in SD what a awesome place . Have been there know Gail she came from our church and the people there love there work. Our church goes there twice a year. The people do lovely work and their 8 point star quilts are to die for. Thanks for going and helping out.

Lovely quilt, Lynn. I've never seen this pattern. But if it's from the Crow that explains why its so lovely.The Navajo in Arizona do some lovely quilts as well.
