This is my version of "Baby Pirates" from the fall 2009 issue of F&P's Baby Quilts. Instead of using the pattern that it called for, I used the Happy Farm pattern instead (from the same issue). I changed the cornerstones just a bit, and added red piping just inside the binding. You can't see the red piping real clearly in the picture, but it came out very cute - I am very happy with it. I never even thought about adding piping to a quilt before, but I recently took a quilt class where it was covered. This one is a gift for my sister's 1st grandson.
