"Cars and Trucks and More, Oh My" by Melodie Keener

It always amazes me how different a quilt can look by changing the recommended fabrics!  This quilt was made from the "Lions & Tigers & Zebras Oh My" pattern in the Summer 2008 F&P Easy Quilts magazine. I decided to go with a fabric that showcases cars, trucks, etc., The back is the same blue & white check that is in the border.  Working with a checkered fabric is kind of a pain, not sure I will do that again.   I call it "Cars and Trucks and More, Oh My"   It is a gift for my brother's new grandson.  Not sure what he is to me - a grand-nephew?

Melodie this is very cute!  Did you use all cotton fabric or is part, or all, flannel?  I've been looking for an idea for my nephew (who isn't born yet).  Thanks!
