"Quilting and Appliqué Fun" by Faye

The patterns for the stitching in the blocks was taken from a book by Keryn Emmerson called Beautiful Quilts as You Go. I decided to set them on point and do some appliqué flowers in the corners. I'm fairly pleased with the results. I hope the stitching shows up well enough in the photo.

Click on the photo twice and you can examine the quilting close up.  I love the quilting.  And the applique.  Very, very nice.

Faye this is a beautiful quilt and love the applique.  Is the quilting by hand or machine?  Either way it is really impressive.  Nice work!

Jean, the quilting is by machine.  I have never done one by hand. I don't know if I have enough patience for hand quilting

I should think that you are 'fairly pleased'.  The quilting and applique are exquisite.  I use many of Keryn's patterns in my LA business.
