"Happy Hearts" by Kelly L

This is my fifth quilt. It is called "Happy Hearts". I made it
custom size for my bed. (112'x110) I had a friend quilt it with a
heart motif. I wanted it to reflect the loves in my life. Even in my
sleep, I am full of love for my family. I am a disabled quilter and
would like to see quilts by other disabled people.

Kelly, what a beautiful quilt.  Warm, happy, hearts.  I once taught a developementally disabled friend to sew and she entered a beautiful jumper she made in the county fair and she won grand champion for her age group.  (and the judges did not know she was disabled).  I lost contact with her when she moved away several years ago.  I hope she is still sewing.   She was very persistent and talented.

the quilt is very pretty. and i am sure that it was sewn with a lot of love in it. I made a mystery quilt out of pinks and gave it to a young lady that has cancer. she sure liked it to. there is something about a quilt that is a gift that makes it so special.
